Lecture Series: Mangroves on the Move

The FSUCML Lecture Series is back with Mangroves on the Move! Join us on October 13th from 7:00 – 8:00 pm for FSU Faculty member, Dr. Josh Breithaupt’s, talk on mangroves and the important role they play in sequestering carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. https://marinelab.fsu.edu/outreach_education/lectures/
Dr. Breithaupt has been a member of the Research Faculty at FSUCML since August 2020. He has a BA in English from Wheaton College, an MS in Environmental Science and a PhD in Marine Science from the University of South Florida. His research focuses on carbon cycling in coastal, intertidal ecosystems over global and regional scales.
Open to the public, lectures take place from 7 until 8 PM in the FSUCML Auditorium. No registration necessary!
