FSUCML Lecture: Through the Looking Glass: Discovering the hidden clues about ecosystems

Florida State University Coastal & Marine Laboratory’s lecture series is back! On Sept. 12th, Dr. Evelyn Gaiser will be giving a lecture on diatoms – tiny glass-encased algae whose beautiful ornamentation provides clues about ecosystem health and inspiration for artistic masterpieces with “Through the Looking Glass: Discovering the Hidden Clues about Ecosystems from Microscopic Glass-encased Algae.”
The 2024 Lecture Series is one way in which the FSUCML reaches out to the community to enhance global coastal & marine literacy in Florida. Open to the public, lectures take place from 7 until 8 PM in the FSUCML Auditorium.
