Eastpoint Library: Holiday Storytime, Homeschool Hour with FPAN, STEM-Making Snow Dough

The Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries (FFCPL) are excited to welcome community members and visitors to participate in a week packed with holiday-themed and educational events. These programs offer enriching experiences for children, teens, and adults, encouraging creativity, learning, and connection in a friendly, inclusive atmosphere. Best of all, each event is free and open to everyone—no library card required!
Storytime at the Libraries
Join Franklin County Public Libraries for the popular Storytime program, where young children are introduced to books, rhymes, music, and engaging activities designed to spark a love of reading. This month’s theme, “How Does Santa Go Down the Chimney?”, will delight little ones as they explore holiday magic.

Homeschool Hour with Florida Public Archaeology Network
Families with homeschooled children are invited to join a special hour hosted by the Florida Public Archaeology Network (FPAN), featuring the book “Swap” by Steve Light. This session includes a hands-on activity where children will design and build their own boats and then test their seaworthiness, making for an exciting and educational experience.

STEM Space: Making Snow Dough
STEM Space at the library provides an interactive environment for exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. In December, participants will get to make Snow Dough, an engaging way to explore basic scientific concepts and have fun with a winter-themed activity.
