Forgotten Coast Plein Air ten day event will include nineteen invited artists from Europe, Canada. and the United States who will be visiting and painting our Forgotten Coast in this 20th year of documenting the landscape and culture of the last vestige of authentic “Old Florida.” March 14 -23, 2025. This year’s theme having to do with our environment and its preservation.
Forgotten Coast Plein Air, America’s Great Paint-out, is among the world’s most prestigious plein air events. Artistic excellence continues to be the trademark of this 10-day festival.
Painters with their easels will be seen everywhere from Mexico Beach to Carrabelle. They welcome on-lookers and interested persons.
On March 18, 2025, four invited artists and others will be painting in the area of Carrabelle. The painters have been heard to say enjoy painting in Carrabelle because it is interesting, quaint, and lovely with misty mornings, boats, and rusty roof textures.
