The Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries (FFCPL) invite residents and visitors to enjoy free, fun, and educational events for all ages—no library card required! Programs foster creativity, learning, and connection in an inclusive environment.
Kaleidoscope Play & Learn
Kaleidoscope Play & Learn is a fun, development-focused playgroup for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. It’s a great space for caregivers to connect, build friendships, and explore how kids learn through play. Novels & Nibbles – Monthly Book Club
Patrons are invited to this month’s book discussion featuring “American Dirt” by Jeanine Cummins. Guests can enjoy engaging conversation and light refreshments in a welcoming atmosphere. Free and open to the public. No library card needed.

Adult Crafternoon
Adults will create and make a Reusable Beeswax Cover – a great way to unwind, connect with others, and take home a handmade treasure. For seasoned crafters or those just looking for a fun way to relax and meet new people, this session is designed to be an enjoyable and stress-free experience. Free and supplies are provided. No library card needed.

Writer’s Forum
Aspiring and seasoned writers alike are invited to join this monthly gathering. This welcoming session will be hosted by author Dawn Radford and others, offering a wonderful opportunity for writers to network, share their work, receive feedback, and connect with fellow literary enthusiasts.
