Ghosts on the Coast

Make your plans now to come out to the “HAUNTED TRAIL” at the Crooked River Lighthouse in Carrabelle, FL. This fundraiser event is sponsored by the Forgotten Coast Parrot Head Club and partnered with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office to raise money to assist with the purchase and implementation of "Project Lifesaver”.

There will be three days of exciting Haunted Trail activities:

Friday, October, 25th -- 7:30 p.m..
Saturday, October 26th -- 7:30 p.m.
Halloween Day, Thursday, October 31st. -- 7:30 p.m.

MUA-HA-HA-HA!! Who is ready to be scared?  The Haunting Begins After Dark......Well, the Forgotten Coast Parrot Heads are planning to do just that! Come out and see our Ghosts on the Coast as we present our HAUNTED TRAIL!

It will all be for a GREAT cause! As most of you are aware, the Parrot Heads have always had a special place in our hearts for people afflicted with Alzheimer's. On this particular project, we will be working hand-in-hand with the Franklin Co. Sheriff’s Office to raise money that will go toward the purchase and implementation of "Project Lifesaver.” Project Lifesaver is the premier search and rescue program operated internationally by public safety agencies, or in this case, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office. The primary mission of Project Lifesaver is to provide a timely response to save lives and reduce potential injury for adults and children with the propensity to wander, due to a cognitive condition such as Alzheimer’s, Autism, or Attention Deficit Disorder.

So make plans now to come out to our HAUNTED TRAIL at the Crooked River Lighthouse in Carrabelle, FL on Friday, October, 25th, Saturday, October 26th, and on Halloween, Thursday, October 31st. The ghost of Jeb Tate (Tate’s Hell) will be just one of many haunts you can expect to see. The phun will begin at nightfall (about 7:30). Cost TBD.

In the coming days, we will be visiting local businesses to find those who share in our concern and would like to serve as sponsors. If you know that this is something you would like to support, please call 850-323-1446. We can explain everything in further detail.

If you would like to contribute in other ways, including, being a haunt/actor or maybe you have construction skills you would like to donate, please let us know! Membership is not a requirement.

While we already have a list of citizens whom this program can benefit, if you know of someone who lives in the Forgotten Coast/Franklin Co. area that needs to be added to this list, please let us know.

Be on the lookout for more information. We are excited to be able to SCARE ALL OF YOU and SAVE SOME LIVES in the process!
