GCSC to host "Girls' Night" to promote STEM Career

Free event for girsl in sixth through eighth grades.  Gulf Coast State College, Bay District Schools and local industry partners are hosting “Girls’ Night,” an event designed to provide middle school girls in the community with the opportunity to learn about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) careers. They will be able to explore GCSC’s Advanced Technology Center and participate in fun, hands-on activities in Engineering, 3D Printing, Unmanned Vehicle Systems (UVS), Cybersecurity, Computer Science and Digital Design. Refreshments will also be provided.

The event will be held on Thursday, April 18, from 5:15 – 7:30 p.m. (Central) in GCSC’s Advanced Technology Center. The event is free for girls in sixth through eighth grades, but space is limited. To reserve a spot, please visit https://bit.ly/2UHxYKE.
