Full Moon & Sunset Climb-Crooked River Lighthouse

At our Full Moon & Sunset Climb, visitors can climb to the top of the tallest lighthouse on the Forgotten Coast, Crooked River Lighthouse, to see breathtaking views of the bay under the glow of the sunset and the rising full Harvest or Corn moon.

In honor of the Harvest or Corn Moon, during this month's climb we will be hosting an informal drumming circle. Anyone that has a drum is welcome to bring it and join in. There will be a few provided so anyone interested is welcome to try their hand as well.  Guests can also enjoy s'mores around the fire pit. Cost is just $8. The museum and gift shop will also be open for your enjoyment. All climbers must be 44 inches tall.

Exciting Breaking News!!! In addition to our informal drum circle, we will are honored and excited to have Paul Eagleheart from the Lipan Apachee Tribe of Texas joining us. He will be doing a sacred Native American drum ceremony starting at 11 pm in honor of the full moon.

Paul Eagleheart has done many ceremonies for causes, including protection of a sacred site. He will begin the ceremony with a prayer song and will be explaining several Native American traditions.
