Annual Kingfish Shootout

CANCELLED:  We were planning a fantastic 2020 Kingfish Shootout when the Covid 19 virus became a part of our everyday life. After careful consideration and discussion, it is the decision of the directors of the tournament to cancel the 2020 Kingfish Shootout.

For the past 16 years we have been dedicated to raising funds for leukemia research and last year we were successful in raising our total donations to $1,043,745. Even though our event has been cancelled, Mr. Ronald Hays of Hays LTI of Camilla, Georgia has graciously donated a HAYS Smoker to be raffled through the sale of tickets. We thank him and his family for their continued support in raising funds for research.
Tickets are available at C-Quarters Marina or you may purchase tickets online at the following link: The drawing for the smoker will be held at C-Quarters Marina on October 2, 2020 at 12:00 noon eastern standard time. You do not have to be present to win. We might not fish this year but we can have the best raffle ever.
Be safe, be well and we will see you next year!

We are happy to announce the 16th Annual Kingfish Shootout to be held on August 3rd & 4th, 2019 with the Captain's Meeting at C-Quarters Marina the night of August 2nd. The Shootout will be for kingfish and spanish mackerel.

The guaranteed payout will be $16,500 with 10 places. You can win $5,000 for the biggest kingfish. Prizes will be given for Youth Angler (16 years or younger) and Lady Angler for the biggest fish in addition to prize money, if qualified. Youth and Lady Angler must catch their fish unassisted. The guaranteed payout for Spanish Mackerel will be $3,500. 1st place is $2,000, 2nd place is $1,000, 3rd place is $500. Teams can enter both categories but only win in one category. Highest place wins. Make sure to weigh in your biggest fish. Boat Registration Fee is $400 per boat.

With continuing thoughts of Lisa Crowder Jackson, we are excited about the potential positive impact this event is going to have not only for the charity, the Leukemia Research Foundation, but the City of Carrabelle and Franklin County as a whole.

Thank you to all our previous sponsors and fishermen. We hope to see you the first weekend in August with the catch of a lifetime, winning the $5,000 for the 1st place kingfish or $2,000 for the 1st place Spanish mackerel.
