29th Annual Carrabelle Riverfront Festival

The day begins at 8:00 a.m. with a 5K Run/Walk followed by downtown activities which include food, art and craft vendors, live entertainment, fun for the children and an evening street dance. Festival admission is FREE and open to the public.

The 5K “To Hell and Back Run/Walk” will take place along River Road to Mill Road and to the edge of Tate’s Hell State Forest. Click on this link for registration information: http://www.gulfwinds.org/Calendar/2019%20Calendar/Flyers/Tates%20Hell%202019.pdf

At 10:00 a.m. food, art and craft vendors along with information booths will open and visitors can enjoy live entertainment on the Marine Street stage. At 2:00 p.m., the 13th Annual Fishy Fashion Show will be making a splash. Runway models show off astonishing, nautical-themed outfits made from found and recycled materials like sea nets, old beach umbrellas, oyster sacks, sails, sponges, and washed up debris.

Arts & Craft vendors, exhibitors and other organizations interested in participating in the Festival please contact Lisa Keith-Lucas at lkeithlucas@gmail.com or (931) 636-2145.

The Carrabelle Community invites you to visit on April 27th, enjoy the festival, dine in local restaurants, and shop for unique items with the festival vendors and local merchants.  Explore our museums and galleries, view the working shrimp boats, and experience the day along the beautiful Carrabelle riverfront.

For up-to-date information, including a schedule of activities, please see the Carrabelle Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page:  https://www.facebook.com/carrabellechamber/

The Festival is funded by the Franklin County Tourist Development Council (TDC), revenue from the 2018 Festival (Coordinated by Carrabelle Cares), and sponsorship by Duke Energy.
