Nature Center in Eastpoint

Open Tuesday-Saturday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Eastern)

Admission is FREE

Bring the whole family to enjoy aquatic tanks, historical and cultural exhibits, and outdoor boardwalks. Our staff coordinate educational programs for local K-8 and high school groups in addition to professional workshops and public programs at the center.

We have nearly ½ mile of elevated boardwalks to explore the surrounding marsh and flatwoods habitats as well as to spot local wildlife.  There is also an observation platform as the end with a view of the beach and St. George Sound.

Millender Park next door provides public access to picnic pavilions and the bayshore beach.  Visitors may carry non-motorized kayaks or canoes to the water, there is no designated boat launch.

Dogs are welcome on the boardwalks and beach, but must be kept on a leash at all times.  Dogs are not allowed in the buildings.
