Update May 8th: The Franklin County Board of Commissioners & City of Carrabelle agreed to remove its ban on out-of-county visitors from local boat ramps. Please continue to follow social distancing rules. Commissioners did point out that things could change if we see a local spike in COVID-19 cases and they will discuss the issue again at their next meeting on May the 19th.

Public Boat Ramps for both vessel and hand-launch (kayaks & canoes):
City of Carrabelle Public Boat Ramp is located on Hwy 98 in the center of town across from Veteran’s Park. Limited parking and a small fee may be charged. This is a single-wide paved ramp for both small vessel vehicle or hand-launch with an approach depth of approximately 4-5 ft, may be tide dependent. Short-term docking only.
Carrabelle Riverwalk Ramp located just past the Pavilion on Marine Street. Parking is available across the street and a small fee is charged. This is a single-wide paved ramp for both small vessel vehicle or hand-launch with an approach depth of approximately 4-5 ft, may be tide dependent. Short-term docking only.
Timber Island Ramp is located at the end of Timber Island Road, turn off Hwy 98 at the Carrabelle Boat Club. Limited parking and a small fee may be charged. This is a single-wide paved ramp for both small vessel vehicle or hand-launch with an approach depth of approximately 10 ft, may be tide dependent.
